Playing AVC Converted/Encoded Files
Some people have been claiming that they can’t play some files they downloaded here on their PSP.
If you can’t play the files on your PSP and get that “unsupported data” error on your PSP, then you might not be putting the files on the “right” folder on your PSP.
Some files on this site are AVC converted files, and they CAN’T be played just by putting the files on your “VIDEO” folder on your PSP memory stick.
What you’ve got to do is create a folder named “MP_ROOT” (without the quote) on the root of your memory stick, and then create another folder named “101ANV01″ (without the quote) inside the MP_ROOT folder that you just created earlier. All the AVC-encoded files you downloaded from our site will go here.
So it’d be like this (MS is your memory stick drive): MS:\MP_ROOT\101ANV01\<filename>.MP4
How To Recognize AVC Converted/Encoded Files?
Normally the filename of AVC converted files start with “MAQ”, followed by five numbers. Something like this: MAQ00001.MP4. So if what you downloaded from us starts with “MAQ”, do the above instructions in order to get the video to work on your PSP.
What if I still can’t play the files?
Make sure the file is named properly according to its original standard, which is MAQxxxxx.MP4 where x is numbers.
Other probability is the file is corrupted, so make sure your download is finished properly.

Hello!
First of all i would like to thank for all the mp4s here ^_^VV
Anyway i found a broken link in the Yakitate section Episode 2. It says file doesnt exist due to inactivity. If you don’t mind how can i help to keep this links alive? i mean can i post your website and links of the anime’s here in forums/blogs, etc?
February 12th, 2009 at 11:29 am
hmm it looks like all gigasize hosted files have not working links
February 12th, 2009 at 4:20 pm
Blakedaddy, thanks for your concern. We appreciate it
If you want to help keep these links alive, you can help us by telling your friends about our site. Or you can tell others about our site on your blogs/forums. Post the links to THIS site i.e http://anime4psp.net NOT the download links.
We just don’t encourage people to re-post the download links on other sites, as that would make us lonely here

Follow this;
Step 1 – Download the individual parts of the file into a folder on your computer. Remember where you put em!
Step 2 – Download the merger file. http://www.badongo.com/vm/524105/bat (for windows, and this is only for episode 19 – You’ll find a link to this merger file below all of the parts of the file).
Step 3 – Browse to the folder where you downloaded the file to and make sure you have all the files needed!
Step 4 – Double-click the merger file to start the process.
You will see a small command prompt window appear.
Step 5 – You will be asked if you wish to delete the parts that are no longer needed. Click ‘YES’ for this.

Adimo, just put the file inside VIDEO folder. The instructions you read above ONLY for the files that can’t be played if you put them inside VIDEO folder.
If you’ve got anymore question to ask, pls ask on our forum, not on here.

Elli, i’m not sure about iphone, you need to ask those using iphones, as the media on this site are specifically for Sony psp.

i got no file named video inside the psp folder thingy! what should i do
August 4th, 2009 at 6:12 am
@fan of psp: It’s not a “file”, it’s a “folder”. If you don’t have it, create it from your computer (with your psp connected to your computer, of course).

Update To the Latest Firmware:
http://du01.psp.update.playstation.org/update/psp/image/us/2010_0729_d7ea54162d2d53c5efb46648ee12f6bc/EBOOT.PBP
1.Backup all your PSP memory data to your PC
[Connect PSP to PC via Usb or Stick Duo Adapter, Highlight all folders and drag them anywhere on your computer.]
2.Now on PSP Go to Settings ->System Settings ->Format Memory Stick.
[this will give you the 6 default folders for the PSP]
3.Put the file types in the right folders
MAQ10303.MP4 –> /MP_ROOT/100ANV01
M4V10303.MP4 –> /MP_ROOT/100MNV01
Anime ep 1.mp4 –>VIDEO
[if the file name doesn't start with MAQ or M4V it goes in the video folder]
note: If video still doesn’t play the uploader might have renamed it to something.mp4 when it was either MAQ or M4V this causes errors so rename the file to MAQ????? or M4V????? the ? represent a number u pick any 5 numbers
try renaming it to both types to see if it plays in one of the folders.
Something.mp4->MAQ10303.MP4 –> /MP_ROOT/100ANV01
Something.mp4->M4V10303.MP4 –> /MP_ROOT/100MNV01
If all fails it just simply means the encoder failed and converted an mp4 unsupported by the psp.
